The Young Presidents

The Young Presidents are a three-member rock band from New York that blends classic rock & roll with a dash of 90's alternative. Vocalist and virtuoso guitar player Jake Hertzog, bassist Mitchell Kaneff, and drummer Leon Bibi are united by their passion for rock music. The band is inspired by everything from Cream to Train, from The Jimi Hendrix Experience to Nirvana and those are just a few of the influences you'll hear on the band's debut album, Freedom of Speech.   TYP uses a back-to-basics approach blended with a modern sound that returns to the great "power trio" of rock: guitar, bass and drums. The Young President's first single, "Wide Open," hit radio and stores on  June 19, 2011, and their forthcoming Album "Freedom of Speech" will be in stores on June 14th.

Nikki Shannon - Fernandez is more than just a pretty face. In fact, she has the complete package--stunning voice, well-seasoned pianist, incredible songwriting and an electrifying personality that captures you instantly and leaves an indelible mark on your soul. Nikki also has a chilled vibe that flows right into her music and her performances which she executes as easily as enjoying a glass of fine wine.

Based in Nashville, Nikki has quickly become a part of the Nashville songwriting community, and has co-written with  and performed with noted songwriters James House ("A Broken Wing", "Aint That Lonely Yet"), James Slater ("In My Daughter's Eyes") , Danny Flowers ("Tulsa Time", Evangeline") , Brian White ("Watching You")  Larry Weiss ("Rhinestone Cowboy"), and Steve Azar ("Waiting on Joe")

She is in the studio now, and recently recorded The Beatles "I Saw Her Standing There" for  an upcoming Paul McCartney Tribute Album

There are big things coming up for Nikki, including a forthcoming record and publishing deal.
